Hello there! Welcome to Krowey’s art portfolio! My name is Castiel Flores!

I’m a graduate of Don Bluth University

I am a professional artist specializing in creature character design and product development.

In my previous roles at the trading card games Elestrals and Portal Champions, I created a range of production-ready creature designs, either from a general theme or from scratch. Throughout the process, I was commended for both my ability to capture an idea provided to me and the speed at which I could produce a final, high-quality product. Alongside my contract work, my wife and I decided to develop our own game, Crater: Star of Mysteries, which you can find more info on here.

Growing up, I was lucky to have been introduced to amazing games such as The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past, Pokémon Yellow, and Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 at an early age. The adventure and collecting mechanics in those games continue to inspire my work to this day. The community around those groups gave me the passion to begin crafting my own worlds with others. If you are looking for someone dedicated, you can’t find anyone more dedicated than me.

Castiel is by far a phenomenal and talented artist. They are very good at communication and are very patient, I know im not the easiest to work with so it means alot. They have made some amazing artwork for my game "Portal champions" even when I didnt have much for them to go off of, even with two word prompts like electric goat they turned out absolute works of art. I cannot recommend them enough! "

I am one of the art directors for Elestrals Tcg. I am writing in behalf of Castiel Flores and his art capabilities. I met Castiel over 2 years ago when I noticed his Fakemon character design concepts. They were different than most concepts I had seen, I really felt he had a thorough and thought out concept as he approached his designs. I urged Castiel to apply for an artist job in Elestrals to which he became a successful candidate and hired on to make art for the company. His strength lies in taking an idea and fleshing it out and coming up with concepts and characters. If given a task I know he will come up with something, and deliver fresh ideas. Cas also handles criticism very well and will make the effort to enhance his designs to cater the specified needs and requests.

All the work I have gotten from Krowey over the years has been an amazing marriage of anime and western animation styles giving a unique style to each piece that you won't find anywhere else.
